Local Partners and Sustainability
Local partners are crucial for maintaining and enhancing sustainability initiatives, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the project and the continuous improvement of the community. After successfully completing phases 1,2 and 3 the city or municipality establishes collaboration with a local partner who, together with the project facilitator, designs and conducts workshops for sustainable development. This approach not only ensures the long-term sustainability of the project but also creates a solid foundation for future growth and community progress. Through synergistic engagement local partners actively contribute to building sustainable and prosperous local communities.
After the successful implementation of the “Cities and Municipalities That Care” project, there is an opportunity to conduct scientific research related to sustainability, civic participation, improved services, increased resilience, and efficiency.
